Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the websites and software products operated by SafeZoneAI Ltd ("we", "us", "SafeZone"), a company registered in England & Wales. By creating an account or paying for a subscription, you accept these Terms.
These Terms are written for business customers. If you are using SafeZone in a personal, non-business capacity, some sections (notably the limitation of liability) may be limited by UK consumer law and that law applies in your favour despite anything in these Terms.
1. The service
SafeZone provides software-as-a-service tools for supplier risk and geopolitical monitoring, including the products marketed at /planet_info and /supplier_info. We reserve the right to change features, pricing and limits with reasonable notice (at least 30 days for any change that materially reduces what you've paid for).
2. Your account
- You must give accurate sign-up information and keep credentials confidential.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account, including users you invite.
- One account per legal entity unless we agree otherwise in writing.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload personal data of individuals you have no lawful basis to process.
- Re-sell, sub-license or white-label SafeZone without a written reseller agreement.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our scoring or sanctions index for resale.
- Use SafeZone to discriminate against suppliers in ways prohibited by applicable law.
- Probe, attack, or attempt to disrupt the service. Coordinated disclosure of vulnerabilities is welcome at security@safezoneaitech.com.
4. Subscriptions, fees and renewals
- Subscription fees are stated on the pricing page and the order form. All amounts are exclusive of VAT unless stated.
- Monthly plans renew monthly; annual plans renew annually. We auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date via the customer portal or email.
- We give at least 30 days' notice of any price increase taking effect at your next renewal.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where SafeZone has materially failed to deliver and not remedied within 30 days of written notice.
- If you don't pay, we may suspend access after 14 days' notice and terminate after 30 days. Termination doesn't waive amounts owed.
5. Your data
Personal data you upload (e.g. supplier contacts) is processed under our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms. You retain all rights in your data. We retain rights in our software, scoring, and indices.
You grant us a limited licence to process your data only as needed to provide the service. We do not use your data to train AI models, and we do not sell or share it with third parties beyond the processors named in our privacy policy.
6. What we score, and what we don't
SafeZone outputs risk scores and sanctions matches. The methodology is published at /methodology. The score is decision-support, not a sanctions clearance, not legal advice, and not a substitute for your own compliance program. You remain responsible for your sanctions screening, KYC, and any decisions you make based on our output.
7. Service availability
We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime measured against the API availability of the supplier-risk product, excluding scheduled maintenance announced at least 48 hours in advance. We do not currently offer service credits at this tier; an SLA with credits is available on Enterprise plans by separate agreement.
8. Warranties and liability
We warrant that the service will perform substantially as described in the marketing pages and methodology, and that we'll handle data with reasonable security. We make no other warranties, express or implied. Specifically, we do not warrant that any score is correct or complete for your purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Neither party is liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, loss of profit, business or anticipated savings.
- Our total aggregate liability under these Terms in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid us in that period.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Termination
- You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
- We can terminate immediately if you breach these Terms materially and don't fix it within 14 days of written notice, or if your use puts us in legal jeopardy.
- On termination we delete your data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (billing, audit). You can export portfolio CSV before termination via the API.
10. Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other's non-public information confidential and use it only to perform under these Terms, for the duration of the relationship and three years after.
11. Changes to these Terms
If we change these Terms in a way that adversely affects you, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date counts as acceptance. If you don't accept, you can cancel and we'll refund any pre-paid period that hasn't started.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The courts of England have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any court with jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property.
